Next Clan Gathering

 

Our next gathering is planned for the summer of 2030 starting in Glasgow, Scotland. The tentative programme is to meet in Glasgow, where John McDouall, Merchant of Glasgow, lived and traded for many years; make trips to Dumfries House, seat of Patrick McDouall, 6th Earl of Dumfries; tour Bothwell Bridge, the site of the famous battle in which Patrick McDouall, the Covenanter fought in 1679; and take the ferry to the Isle of Bute and tour Mount Stuart, seat of the Bute family, and much more. This promises to be an exciting trip with loads of ancestral history, which builds upon the previous 2018 and 2024 gatherings.
